So were all blogging, not because we want to, but because its a grade. some people have probably found this actually kind of fun, i know i have. however, i believe Dr. Borders intended this to be a tool. this is not just a grade, but a tool for us to share with each other whats important to our souls or spirit as individuals and as collective christians.
Nothing puts whats important in perspective like a busy weekend. whether its school work or athletics, theres always something to slow you down and realize that life itself is important, people are important, your faith (or faithing) is important.
Some people actually like school, it can be fun sometimes. some people enjoy being athletes, which is totally fine too. I, however, want to experience all that God has created in this world, or at least as much as i can. the good and the bad. God created this world, why not enjoy all that you can? you only get one life. perhaps all this can be categorized under faithing, the verb, but couldn't it, in some cases, be synonymous with just living life?
signing off, D-town boogie
I think living and faithing can be synonymous. I don't think it always is though. To me, faithing also involves the choices that we make as individuals. I'm assuming that you mean faithing as in "Christian Faithing" if there is such a thing. I don't think God would create (give people the ability to create) something that he didn't want us to experience. That being said I don't understand everything... check that. I don't understand a lot. Like drugs and stuff?? Good, Bad, Good for you, Bad for you?? Anyway, you made great points.
